This week our Kaumatua ki Ōtaki Roopu went to Te Wānanga o Raukawa to visit the new whare that have recently been open within TWoR.

We heard alot of Beautiful korero from our Kaumātua who shared their memories growing up as a Tamariki in around TWoR.🥰

We were lucky enough to sit in the new whare of "Te Moana o Raukawa". The Kaumātua felt special to be walking around a grand whare learning the makeshift of the building and how it was named.

Our visit to “Te Ara Tāwhaki" our Kaumātua were amazed at the beautiful carved Pou in the Whare and who they represented and acknowledge to all those that brought a beautiful place like this to their rohe
