  • This is a practical, field-based role supporting the delivery of environmental programmes across pest management, restoration, monitoring, and biodiversity protection. You will play a key part in ensuring projects are delivered safely, effectively, and in alignment with our hapū values.

    Your mahi will include:

    • Pest plant and pest animal management

    • Restoration planting and biodiversity monitoring

    • Field operations including herbicide application and vegetation control

    • Supporting ecological surveys, GIS mapping, and data collection

    • Contributing to environmental projects across the rohe

    • Upholding tikanga Māori and working within a kaupapa Māori environment

  • You will be experienced in environmental field work, or bring relevant skills and a strong commitment to protecting our taiao.

    We’re looking for someone who is:

    • Passionate about taiao and kaupapa Māori

    • Confident working outdoors in varied terrain

    • Reliable, practical, and safety-focused

    • Able to work independently and as part of a team

    • Committed to learning, growth, and supporting hapū aspirationsription text goes here

    • Full driver licence

    • Quad, tractor, LUV and 4x4 driving certifications

    • GrowSafe Applied Certificate Level 4

    • Registered Chemical Applicator Certificate

    • Bush navigation certification

    • Diploma in Environmental Science (or equivalent)

    IDEAL BUT NOT REQUIRED

    • NZ Firearms Licence

    • Chainsaw certification
