Join us for a Te Tiriti Wānanga facilitated by Dr Veronica Tawhai, one of Aotearoa New Zealand's leading educators and academics on Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Dr Tawhai (Ngāti Porou, Ngāti Uepōhatu) is an experienced Te Tiriti educator and Associate Professor with extensive knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Māori politics, and constitutional history.

This two-day wānanga offers an opportunity to deepen your understanding of Te Tiriti, exploring the history leading up to its signing, what has unfolded since, and how Te Tiriti has been interpreted and represented over time.

Through shared learning and open kōrero, we'll create a space for whānau to reflect, ask questions, and grow our understanding together.

Whether you're just beginning your learning journey or looking to deepen your knowledge, all are welcome.
